Antoniette's Kitchen Wisdom, Home Cooking School
Cindy Gentiletti, owner of Cynthia Roberts Salon, Spa & Studio, is excited to announce the feature business for the October 2009 presentation of the Cynthia Roberts Mind, Body & Soul Program. This recognition program—created, inspired, and empowered by women—has generated great interest and wonderful conversations.
After an in-depth review of the businesses interested in being featured by Cynthia Roberts, Cindy has invited, Antoniette Ricci of Antoniette’s Kitchen Wisdom, Home Cooking School to present her business and its services.
Antoniette’s Kitchen Wisdom, opened several years ago by Ricci, in large part due to the inspiration from friends and family, is located on Chestnut Avenue in Vineland. Antoniette states, “My purpose was, and still is, to teach cooking skills to anyone willing to listen, no matter what age or walk of life. If you have no clue about cooking, my kitchen is open to you. You’ll be amazed at what you can do. If you are already a good cook, my kitchen is open to you as well. Here you can share your interest, find new recipes and make new friends.”
October Presentation
Throughout the month of October be sure to check out the Antoniette’s Kitchen Wisdom display set up in the entrance of the Cynthia Roberts Salon, Spa & Studio. You will find cookbooks; pictures of previous cooking classes and favorite dishes; handwritten and cherished recipes; thank you letters from past students; primitive soup pots; linens from 18th Century Italy; as well as seasonal produce. This fall-flavored display tells a story of cooking and life and how the two are entwined.
Within the display you can read about Ricci and her Mediterranean background. She was born in the Abruzzi region of Italy and came to America at the age of 12. She considers herself both very Italian and very American, with her cooking style a blend of both cultures.
While you are in the Salon, look for the sign-up sheets for Antoniette’s Kitchen Wisdom’s Holiday Cooking Session starting Wednesday, November 11 (5 classes) or for the “Cooking and Dining with Friends” Experience to be held on Friday, November 6. Class size is limited to 14 for both, so be sure to secure your place at the table!
Future Mind, Body & Soul Events
Cynthia Roberts Salon, Spa & Studio plans to continue this program through 2010. Amazing area women—whether they are business owners, creatives, or inspirations to us all—will be recognized. Cindy Gentiletti believes that this program, in promoting the success stories of local women, will motivate others to be as amazing as they can be!
